National Association of Pastoral Care in Education announces a major conference to be held at Newman University Birmingham.
‘Schools and the Mental Health and wellbeing of their pupils.’
This major national conference is being held at a time when those working in schools are becoming increasingly concerned about the mental health and wellbeing of their pupils. The conference will have a dual focus:
- To increase understanding of the challenges faced by schools in responding to the needs of pupils experiencing mental health difficulties.
- To explore a range of strategies and approaches currently being used within schools to support children and young people experiencing mental health problems and promote the wellbeing of all pupils.
The conference will be of interest to school leaders, school staff with pastoral, SEN and support roles, school governor’s, academics and students.
